Project Leader : Télécom Lille1

Today, two training courses are available to our students via  distance training:
•    the apprenticeship training track
•    the TutTelNet® lifelong learning track.

These courses are a key project of the school and reflect the determination of TELECOM LILLE 1 to provide relevant solutions to the needs of businesses and employees.

The training alternates between:
•    weeks of face-to-face training (one every 6 weeks),
•    and weeks of distance-learning (6 consecutive weeks) during which students follow virtual classes using the specific TutTelSet® tool, consult the e-learning resources via internet, discuss with each other and the teaching staff via a dedicated discussion forum.

Some key figures about open and distance learning at TELECOM Lille 1

•    more than 1,000 hours of multimedia e-learning resources developed to date by COROLIA Formation the specialized distance learning department (engineering course and 3 specialization options),
•    more than 700,000 minutes of communication each year in virtual class sessions.
•    more than 1,200 students trained to date,
•    around 50,000 days of training dispensed in 2006.

Awards

First prize in the Engineering Grandes Ecoles - L’Etudiant Trophy – Innovative Teaching Systems Category (2002).
