Support for distance learning

Description

This module, designed in accordance with skills acquisition objectives, is aimed at the open distance-learning (FOAD) module supporting tutor function.

It comprises a set of pedagogical activity sequences each meeting a specific objective. These sequences are hinged around a project placing learners in a position whereby they gain a concrete understanding of the requirements of distance-learning support.

Learners will have access to the entire mechanism (organization, documents, support, technologies) via the distance learning extranet of TELECOM ParisTech.

Overall objectives

Following this training learners will be able to:

1) Understand the specific features of learner support within the context of an FOAD module;
2) Understand the complexity of an FOAD program and its context to anticipate implementation;
3) Appreciate issues of cooperation between the players of an FOAD

Professors, training, technical and administrative staff involved in distance-learning sessions.
