Encouraging usages and supporting the development of innovative training systems focusing on the learner requires tools to organize and implement this new method of learning.

For this purpose, this section presents the tools and platforms developed and used by our schools for LMS* and/or CMS*... the great majority of which use free software*/open source* software

A few definitions:

• Le LMS* (Learning Management System) is focused on the management and organization of learning
• Le CMS* (Content Management System) is designed to simplify online content creation and management, enabling more frequent updating of published resources.
• Le LCMS* : Learning Content Management System. Un LCMS is a system (usually based on Web technologies) used for the creation, validation, publication and management of learning content.
